OpenComp's Market Data provides detailed information on how your organization's employees compare to the OpenComp benchmark. This view provides both a high-level overview of where your employees sit relative to market compensation and detailed-level analysis down to the Employee Type, Level, Department and Individual.

1. The Market feature allows you evaluate how your workforce's compensation compares to market. A precursor to this is uploading your employee data.

2. The Market data solution groups employees into their departments, based on your data. When you click into a department, you can view where individual employees' compensation sits relative to the market data.

3. After you expand a department section, OpenComp displays all the employees in that department along with relevant information, include the amount needed to bring an individual up to the 50th percentile.

Clicking the '>' symbol opens the employee detail view.

4. The employee detail view includes several attributes for an individual employee, most prominently, where their comp sits against the market.

5. Expand each section to see the corresponding information for each employee. Administrators and other users with the appropriate permission sets can make edits to employees.

6. From this view, Admins can also add employees if an active HRIS synch is not in place.

7. The app supports a number of display, filter, sorting and download options at the top-right portion of the display.

8. Useful filters allows users to view Market Data by Department, Levels, Gender, Ethnicity, and Location. The Market Data updates dynamically as you apply filter settings.

9. The download file of your employee census includes the OpenComp benchmark information.

10. The employee census download file includes benchmark role, level, geo tier and target comp & equity at the 50th percentile.
