Like Android, it's fully customizable.

Custom Uer Permissions!

Now, by popular demand, OpenComp supports fully customizable permissions. With this release, OpenComp Admins can create their own User Types and customize access to the following resources:

  • Employee data

  • Inviting other users

  • Editing employees

  • DEI information

  • Equity

  • Market Data

  • Ranges

  • Offers

  • Cycles

To configure custom User Types, access Admin Console > User Permissions.

Admin Override for Cycles

This enhancement allows Cycle Owners to change and/or override recommendations that a Budget Owner submitted.

To edit compensation recommendations, click the Edit button at the top of the screen. This will allow a Cycle Owner to send the recommendation back to the Budget Owner or make the adjust themself.

In-Line Editing for Promotions

Now, Budget Owners can propose raises from the Cycle's table of employees without having to click-into an individual employee view. To accomplish this, either click the Job Change column to indicate the employee is recommended for a promotion or simply change the employee's benchmark role or level to automatically mark them as promoted. Upon doing so, a new column will appear where Budget Owners can enter the employee's new title.

Geo Strategy based on Job Family

This release adds Job Family as a new quality that Admin can use to determine an employee's Geo. We introduced this capability based on a specific customer's request. That individual felt that Job Area was too broad of a quality on which to determine Geo Tier. So, if you're a customer and you're reading this, and you have specific requests, please submit them. Over time, we want our Geo Strategy to more closely reflect the needs of our customers! Please bring use your ideas.

Sort Benchmarking Table By Clicking Column Headers

On the benchmarking table in Scenario Settings, OpenComp Customers can now click the headers atop each column (of non-editable columns) to apply an ascending sort order to that column. Clicking the same header again will apply a descending sort, and vise-versa. A new icon next to the sorted column's header represents each sort state.

New Roles Added

Herewith are six new roles that OpenComp added to its benchmark.
