Apply cycle comp changes to scenario; incorporate target bonus to calc a cycle's budget; sort order capabilities in cycles
Apply Cycle Changes to Scenario
Previously, when a cycle is finished, users have had to export the cycle results and then reimport the new compensations. Absent doing this, employee compensation in OpenComp would not update to match the changes made in the cycle.
Now, OpenComp Admins can apply the results of a cycle to all employees with a click of a button. After a cycle is finalized, a new Apply Changes section appears at the top of the cycles summary page. The cycle collaborators can click a button that takes all the new compensation values that have been decided upon in the cycle and applies them to the employees of that scenario on OpenComp.
Please note though that once new compensation values are applied to OpenComp, they will show up on employees' Total Rewards, so HR leaders will need to be intentional about when they take this action (there is a good amount of warning text so they should know what they are doing).
Using Target Bonus to Calculate Cycle Budget
Previously, the cycle budget calculator widget could come up with a budget by taking a percentage of all employees' base salary or total cash comp. Now, Cycle Planners can designate that the Cycle Budget also take a percentage of all employees' target annual bonuses. This is particularly useful for bonus cycle payouts.
Sort Cycle Proposal Table by Clicking Column Headers
Cycle Budget Owners can click the header of (non-editable) columns to apply an ascending or descending sort order to that column.
