This explains how to create a Benchmark employees using OpenComp

Another incredibly useful feature of OpenComp is our AI-powered Benchmarking module. Gone are the days of have to match your employees to an expensive salary survey that comprised roles, levels, and salary data broken down by quartile.

After you and with the click of a few buttons, the application will map your employees to the . Using AI, the application levels your employees and maps them to normalized Job Roles within our .

Then, using a familiar step-driven process, OpenComp allows you to confirm the Job Roles and Levels to which the application mapped your employees.

What often takes organizations weeks, even months, of is something like OpenComp handles like a .

Step 1: Navigate to Scenario Settings

To complete the Benchmarking process, navigate to Scenario Settings.

Step 2: Review Employees

Then, select the Benchmarking (highlight 1 in the image below). Once you do that, OpenComp may prompt you to review employees that the application could not auto-magically map to a role and level (highlight 2 below). This happens when employees' titles don't match similar roles in our benchmark (some organizations take a unique approach to job titles). The element highlighted as 4 are editable fields from which to select appropriate Benchmark Roles and Levels.

Step 3: Make Selections

Select the appropriate Benchmark Roles and Levels from the pulldowns.

Step 4: Confirm Selections

After adjusting Roles & Levels, comfirm your selections.

Step 5: Review Confirmed Selections

You might want to double-check that auto-magical mappings are correct. If not, you can modify the Roles and Levels in the same manner as in above.
